The director of a Ruston animal rescue agency is free on bond after being arrested Saturday following an incident involving her former daughter in law. Suellyn Martin, 69, of 908 Pea Ridge Road, was charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and simple battery. Martin is the director of and one of the founders of 4 Paws Rescue. According to the arrest report, Martin forced her way into her ex-daughter-in-law’s residence, and after exchanging words with her, slapped her once and attempted to do so again.
