ocal doctor’s offices and hospitals will be offering breast-feeding information to mothers.
The La Leche League of Ruston was recently awarded $4,900 by the Lincoln Health Foundation to be used to place bags with breast-feeding information in local doctor’s office and hospitals.
Amanda Serio, group leader, said the money allowed them to make 500 bags for hospitals and 500 bags for doctor’s office.
The bags contain information regarding breast-feeding, such as the benefits and common problems.
