Memorial services for Lisa Beth Reynolds will be held Thursday January 20, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at United Methodist Church in Athens. Officiating will be Rev. Ross Genger. Lisa was born November 27, 1955 in Homer and entered into rest January 16, 2011 in Minden. She had been a resident of Athens for years. She was a homemaker who loved helping others. She loved children, especially her grandchildren Emma and Jackson. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing games, and drinking her Dr. Peppers. Her father Lane Reynolds, daughter Emily Wall, and uncle Freddie Ackel of Athens preceded her in death. Lisa is survived by her mother Margie Ackel Reynolds of Athens,  her daughter Kristi Mayfield and husband Matt of Minden, and their children Emma and Jackson Mayfield. Lisa is also survived by sister Jill Reynolds Waltemate, husband Scott, and her daughter Brooke Wadlington of Shreveport. She is further survived by her brother Mike Reynolds and wife Dianne of Ruston, and their sons Jason and Kevin Reynolds. Lisa is survived by her great nieces Eva Reynolds and Amelia Reynolds, and great nephew Jake Reynolds. Lisa is also survived by Aunt Linda Gordon, and Uncle John Ackel both of Athens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Minden First United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry, 903 Broadway Street, Minden, Louisiana 71055.
