MLK’s dream remembered still today

Dr. King had a dream, a dream for a better America and a dream of equality.
On Aug. 28, 1963, he delivered his now famous speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal,’” Dr. King said that day.

It is that creed for which he gave his life, at the age of 39 years old.
