The board of aldermen for the city of Grambling will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. Thursday in city hall.
On the agenda for the monthly meeting are public comments, an update on work being completed by Shuler Consulting Company, an update from American Water and Wastewater, Grambling Chief of Police Tommy Clark and Grambling Fire Chief David Wells.
Old business to come before the council is the approval of a resolution of the mayor and board of aldermen regarding charitable gaming.
Senior post player and Class 4A Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-State candidate Byronesha Santiago has helped Ruston High’s girls have one of the best starts in the program’s history. She has helped shoot the Lady Bearcats to a 13-2 record, which includes a recent 11-game winning streak. Ruston will take a Christmas holiday break before resuming action Monday through Dec. 30 at the Bossier City Airline High tournament.
