Alexander, Garner to marry Nov. 20
Dustin Wayne Alexander and Anna Elizabeth Garner, both of Ruston, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Cheryl and Troy Acree, of Shreveport, and Marty and Jeff Garner, of Roseville, Calif. She is the granddaughter of Mary Beth and Don McCullen, of Simsboro, Gloria and Joe Garner, of Shreveport, Elsie and Earl Acree, of Shreveport, and John Sutton, of Ponca City, Okla. Mary Elizabeth Byrd and the late Rev. Jack Byrd, of Minden, are her great-grandparents.
Anna is a 2007 alumna of Ruston High and will graduate from Louisiana Tech University in May 2011. She is majoring in elementary education.
The groom is the son of Faith and Greg Alexander, of Ruston. He is the grandson of Dr. Kenny and Shirley Crump and Bud and Louise Alexander, all of Ruston. His great-grandparents are Doris Alexander and the late J.C. Alexander, of Ruston.
Dustin is a 2005 alumnus of Cedar Creek and is employed with Alexander Landscaping and Construction.
The couple plan to marry in a 6 p.m. ceremony on Nov. 20 at Temple Baptist Church.
