Cartoonists beat top inventors
In the 25-plus years that Susan and I have been together, I’ve learned a lot from my little Texan.
For example, you can eat rice without having to add gravy.
Through Susan the worlds of fried rice, Spanish rice, wild rice and brown rice entered my vast food repertoire.
Susan also showed me that fish doesn’t have to be fried to taste good. Granted, fried fish is a southern tradition that tastes absolutely wonderful. But did you know that it is also good baked and broiled? It’s also a lot better for you — that is if you keep from doctoring it up too much.
