Dressed as Betsy Ross, Kathie Colvin attended the children’s and information booth. She said she was fascinated by the amount of artifacts the museum contains.
“It’s probably the best-kept secret in north Louisiana,” she said. “I could just spend hours looking at the artifacts. There is such a variety for such a small building. I wish that more people knew about it and that more people would come out.”
The crowd who did know of the event at the museum listened to a brief program, Stevens said, reminding people why Veterans Day is observed.
