It involves the lesser-known elected offices of the justices of the peace and parish constables and represents a true grassroots effort to organize people into a force looking out for Lincoln Parish’s highways and byways.

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, charged with enforcing the parish’s litter ordinances, has a deputy who specializes in scouting out litterbugs, writing them tickets and seeing that they pay the fines associated with trashing our beautiful piney hills.
