Small gestures ease pain of a tough week

I actually made a list of these things and spent a few minutes studying it. What I realized was that none of the things on my list were big gestures.

In fact, the people who made these acts of kindness most likely didn’t go out of their way and probably didn’t even realize the positive effect they had on me.

They were simply being thoughtful, which is a characteristic we all possess. For some reason, though, it seems to be something that we quickly abandon when we feel overwhelmed, over-stressed or just tired.
