Furry Fun Walk
The dog days of summer got an early start Saturday as the Ruston Parks and Recreation Department held its seventh annual Furry Fun Walk.
The Fun Walk was held at the J.C. Love Baseball and Softball Complex for the first time after previously being held near the RPAR Offices on James St. and then at Cooktown Park.
“First it got too big to hold near the RPAR office, and then last year we started noticing we were really outgrowing Cook Park,” RPAR’s Ashlynn Shell said. “It’s a good sign that we have to keep moving it because it keeps getting bigger.
