Local cash waits on President
“Louisiana Tech has a solid reputation for research in the biosciences,” said U.S. Sen. David Vitter, R-Louisiana. “These funds will help keep them at the cutting edge of scientific research.”
The money will be used to enhance Louisiana Tech’s research and development programs in the areas of bioenergy and biomedical nanomanufacturing, with a particular emphasis on biofuel production and bionanosytems for sensing, drug delivery and tissue engineering,
according to a release from Vitter’s office.
