Mire, Halbrook to unite in matrimony
Mr. And Mrs. Richard Mire, of Shreveport, joyfully announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Michele Mire, to Andrew Hearne Halbrook, son of Mary Elizabeth and Andy Halbrook, of Ruston.
The Bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Whitecotton and the late Harry Whitecotton, of Shreveport, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mire, of Lake Charles.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Eugene Hearne, of Ruston, and Mr. And Mrs. David Halbrook, of Belzoni, Miss. Amber is a graduate from C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport and Louisiana Tech University. She earned her bachelors degree in early childhood education and is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher at Crawford Elementary.
Andrew is a graduate from Cedar Creek High School in Ruston. He currently attends Louisiana Tech University where he is studying construction engineering with a minor in business management, and is a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He plans to graduate in the spring and pursue a Master of Business.
The couple will marry March 23 in Ruston at the Bridge Northside with the reception to follow at the Norton Building.
After the wedding, the couple will reside in Ruston.
