DUBACH — The monthly meeting for the village of Dubach this week started off with a public hearing on Resolution 323 that proposed to keep the millage tax for Dubach at 7.25 mills.
One mill is equal to $1 in property taxes for every $1,000 of real estate value above the homestead exemption of $75,000.
After there were no public comments on the subject, the council voted to keep the tax the same. This will be the third year that the millage tax has been the same for Dubach, and next year it will be reassessed to accommodate for changes in the municipality.
