Discovering the story of a local hero
The couple’s chance find at a Ruston flea market inspired them to pursue a relative of the item’s original owner. Although their search has only led to dead ends, the Hulls remain undaunted in their mission.
The story begins about a year ago when the Hulls purchased a set of dogtags at a Ruston shop. Walter, an International Paper retiree and Army veteran, noticed the name and hometown of the soldier to whom the tags belonged: Francis O. Adam Jr. of Ruston, LA.
