GSU radio station down
Grambling State University's radio station, KGRM-FM (91.5), is not on the air due to an unanticipated technical malfunction. Several people are working to update the computer-driven technology.
"This is a most unfortunate situation, but we lost a drive in the computer, one that lasted nine years," said Joyce B. Evans, general manager of KGRM-FM. "We had to get a new drive built and data transferred. Now we're working with the university engineer and IT (the information technology department) to work on installation options. If all goes well, we'll be back on the air this weekend."
