A Ruston radio legend
Whether he’s out at the grocery store to pick up the essentials or at the gas station filling up, Bob Day can usually get by without anyone knowing who he is, unless he decides to open his mouth.
“That’s when people start to figure out who I am and ask about my voice,” he said. “No one knows me by my face, just the voice.”
Day, who has spent the past 32 years broadcasting on three different stations in Ruston, said that’s just part of the price you pay for working in radio.
