Resident concerned about country
John F. Kennedy, a Democrat, and Ronald Reagan, a Republican, positively inspired most American citizens. During each of their presidencies, the people had a feeling of well being. Life was good and the attitude of the general public was consistently upbeat. The public had faith in those holding public office from local positions up through the federal level. Those at the highest echelons of government had a dedicated interest in making the best decisions that would benefit their constituents. The United States was at its zenith of prosperity, wealth and worldwide respect.
