Schools keep priorities straight
Driver’s ed is a rite of passage among American teenagers. I don’t think I’ll ever forget my own adventures with the class, though I can’t guarantee I remember every single rule I learned.
Unlike many of my peers, I didn’t attend driver’s education at my own high school. The reason? I didn’t want to wake up and go to school an hour before I had to. I preferred to sign up for a commercial program, hosted at another parish school, that took place after school.
