Community should share life blood
One thing is to participate in local drives like the one Ruston Parks and Recreation, partnered with LifeShare, will hold from 4-7 p.m. today in the facility’s conference room.
Ashlynn Shell, recreation coordinator for RPAR, said this drive would give those who can the opportunity to help someone in need of blood products.
“I’m pretty psyched about having the ability and opportunity now to help someone else,” Shell said. “I know that LifeShare is low on all blood products. I’m hoping the community will come out and replenish their deficits.”
