Didier, Tripp marry
Renee Ann Didier, of Thibodaux, and Whitney Leo Tripp, of Sarepta, recently exchanged wedding vows. The couple was married in a 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony March 17 at Temple Baptist Church.
The ceremony was officiated by Jason Walsworth.
Renee is the daughter of Mary T. Dupre, of Thibodaux.
She is the granddaughter of the late Max Dupre and Mary Ruth Dupre, of Thibodaux, and the late Frieda Didier and the late Pearce Didier.
Whitney is the son of Jimmie Tripp, of Homer, and Paula Wright, of Sarepta. He is the grandson of Harold and Carolyn Palmer, of Sarepta, and the late Leo Carnell and Lonna Tripp.
The bride wore an ivory satin A-like dress with a cathedral length train.
Serving as maid of honor was Michelle Didier, of Lafayette. Serving as matron of honor was Jackie Tripp Lewis, of Minden.
Bridesmaids were Tiffany Tripp Byram, of New Orleans, and Jessica Palmer, of Lawrenceburg, Ind.
The bridesmaids were dressed in halter-top, A-line floor length fuschia gowns. Their flowers were green hydrangeas and fuchsia roses.
Serving as best man was Shaun Lewis, of Minden.
Groomsmen were Josh Byram, of New Orleans, Nathan Timmons, of Sarepta, and Eric Fontenot, of Ville Platte.
Ushers for the ceremony were Wendell Wright, of Serepta, and Miles Lewis, of Minden.
Ring bearer was Preston Lewis, of Minden.
Following the ceremony, there was a reception held at The Norton Building.
A rehearsal dinner was held March 16 at the couple’s home in Ruston.
The couple will reside at their home in Ruston.
