Haik, Smtih exchange vows
Lillian Elaine Haik and Dr. Gregory Wayne Smith were united in marriage on March 17, 2012 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Monroe. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dale M. Farley.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Haik Jr. of Calhoun. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Audrey Andrieu and the late Mr. Thomas J. Andrieu, and Mrs. Ethel Haik and the late Mr. Raymond E. Haik Sr.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. G. Wayne Smith of Ruston. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William “Jack” Wooden, and Dr. and Mrs. W. Tracy Smith.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor, her sister Ms. Adrienne Haik, of Oakland, Calif. Bridesmaids were Miss Jessica Castolenia, of Silsbee, Texas, and Miss Sarah Burns, of New Orleans.
The groom’s father, Dr. G. Wayne Smith, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Ronald McMorris, of Walker, and Dr. Heath Barnett, of Ruston.
Lillian is a 2006 graduate of Cedar Creek School and a 2010 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in English.
Greg is a 2000 graduate of Cedar Creek School, a 2004 graduate of Louisiana Tech University, and a 2007 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College. He is in his fourth year of practice at Smith Chiropractic Center, LLC, in Ruston.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Calvert Crossing Golf Club in Calhoun. After a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple will make their home in Ruston.
