LAKE CHARLES — After falling behind early against McNeese State, the Louisiana Tech women’s soccer team comeback attempt fell short Friday night at Cowgirls Field. The Cowgirls won the fourth meeting between the in-state schools 2-1 behind two first half goals.
The loss drops the Lady Techsters to 2-1-1 on the season and while MSU improves to 1-2-0.
Tech Head Coach Kevin Sherry was not happy with his team’s performance in the first half.
The NBC Sports Group will continue to broadcast the State Farm Bayou Classic, a Thanksgiving weekend tradition, through the 2012 contest, it was announced Tuesday by the NBC Sports Group, Southern University System and Grambling State University.
