Making new resolutions stick
I’ve been thinking about what causes the lot of us to leave our resolutions to be better by the wayside. When I interviewed Nicole Duke, a dietitian at Lincoln General Hospital, and Kim Allen, owner of Add Life Fitness and Wellness Center, their comments helped me come up with this: We set ourselves up to fail. We make promises to reach outrageous goals without the tools or know-how.
To help us out, I’ve made a “how-to” of ways to make it through the month without wanting to quit.
