Holding tongue is no easy task
Most of my trouble comes from opening my mouth. Whether it’s a sarcastic retort, thinking out loud or giving away a secret, that tongue of mine needs to be tamed.
The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
The second step is slightly more difficult: fixing said problem. I can often bite my tongue and not say the first snappy comeback that comes to mind when I’m irritated, and, if I am paying attention, I usually can keep family secrets (Did you know that Kyle — Oh, wait! I can’t tell that!), but it’s speaking before thinking that gets me into trouble the most.
