Be wary of teen dating violence
When one is a teenager, a dating partner can seem like the most important thing in the world.
There may be pressure to have a date to the dance or be in a relationship. Sometimes, however, teens can be so eager to get into or remain in a relationship that they make decisions that put themselves in emotional or physical danger.
February marks Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. This is a time for anyone who comes in contact with teens in a leadership role, whether parents, older siblings, mentors or church leaders, to make sure young people understand what is healthy within a relationship.
