Downtown needs more arts
Walking around downtown Ruston this past weekend, it was hard for me not to notice a slight emptiness I felt as I tried to find something to do with my time.
While I try to support local businesses as much as a poor college student can, it pained me to see places like coffee shops, which catered to a varied clientele, shut down.
With the Ruston 21 plans, the sidewalks are getting nicer and there are more plans. But it seems as if the arts are dying out in this area.
