Donation — gift of love
The paintings by DeCinter Caraway Farley represent her life growing up on her family’s farm in Claiborne Parish.
“They represent what farm life was like during her time,” Emory said. “They are an asset to the museum because they represent how people lived and survived back then. Claiborne Parish was very similar to Lincoln Parish back then in the way of life that our early pioneers lived.”
Emory added the donation was a gift of love.
