Frederick Henry Price
Frederick Henry Price WWII fighter pilot took his last flight above the clouds on Dec. 2, 2011.
During his service, he flew 55 missions in the European Theatre. He was a life-long sportsman, volunteer Firefighter, and patriot born July 7 1923 in Ruston, LA.
He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and received his law degree from The University of Arkansas. After moving from Shreveport to Houston in 1975, he retired from Pennzoil after 33 years.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Scott Price and Lucinda Buie Price, his brother Thomas Scott Price Jr. and sister Audrey Price Baxter.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jane Thompson Price and their daughter Amy Price Cleaveland and spouse Derryl Wayne Cleaveland and their children Eric Wayne Cleaveland and Emily Elizabeth Cleaveland, Also survived by his son Thomas Ragan Price and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
Services will be held at Champion Forest Baptist Church, 15555 Stuebner Airline Rd., Houston, TX 77069 on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11am. The family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment and short graveside remarks to take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston, LA. 1pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Visitation will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home immediately following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Autumn Grove Cottage-Champions or the Alzheimer's Association of Houston.
