State needs to get on track with education
We’ve all been made aware of Gov. Jindal’s desire to sell or privatize the Office of Group Benefits (OGB) and use the funds generated to balance the budget and make himself look good. One does not have to be an accountant to calculate that a private takeover would be a for profit group that would do just that, make a profit off the state employees and make sure they generate enough profit to pay for this acquisition. The OGB is not broken, so it does not need Jindal to fix it.
