Youth race through the iHoops Skills Challenge
Bobby James Gym was abuzz with activity on Saturday morning for Ruston Parks and Recreation Department’s second annual iHoops Skills Challenge.
Around 45 youth showed up to put their basketball skills to the speed-based test and interact with members of the Louisiana Tech University men’s and women’s basketball teams.
During the free competition, each participant had an opportunity to showcase their dribbling, passing and shooting proficiency in a timed, half-court obstacle course. Boys and girls competed separately in four age groups.
