Bearcats: big win over Lions
The seven-point differential on the final scoreboard came on a fourth quarterback throw of 33 yards to quarterback Ben Alsup to wideout Lamar Haddox, a pair of seniors who figure on supplying their share of headlines over the next several months.
“It was a good win for us because it was tough losing the way we did in the first game,” said Alsup. “Our team played well against a good Ouachita team. This is what we needed after the Neville game. It was good to get the win.”
While the ‘Cats wre o utlasting the Lions, the city’s other schoolboy squad was on cruise control.
