G-Men sting Hornets
GRAMBLING — Grambling State University’s football team ended its victory drought on Saturday afternoon and did it in convincing style.
The Tigers (2-4), who had suffered losses in their previous four games, got back on track by crushing Concordia College 44-0 at Robinson Stadium in front of 7,182 fans.
It was Grambling State’s first win since a 20-14 triumph over Alcorn State University on Sept. 3 in Shreveport.
The 44 points scored was the most for the Tigers this season and the most since a 47-33 home victory over Texas Southern University during the 2009 campaign.
