527th soldiers receive court martials

Among those eight from the Charlie Company 527th Engineer Battalion were three sergeants: Patrick Platt, Christopher Bartlett and Matthew Maggio. All three were found guilty by a military court of larceny along with two counts of unauthorized entry of a place of business.

In Platt’s case, he was found guilty of both larceny over $100 and two counts of larceny over $500.

Both Bartlett and Maggio were found not guilty of dereliction of duty, while Platt was found guilty of that charge.
