Edward Arnold Ferrell, age 67 of Ruston, died September 14, 2011 at his home. He was born April 30, 1944 in Jacksonville, Texas to Calvin Earl Ferrell and Valeria Holland Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell was a veteran of the US Navy as well as the US Army National Guard from which he retired as a Sergeant First Class. He served his country during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He was also an electrician by trade. In his spare time, he loved grilling, cooking, hunting, fishing, carpentry and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by his wife Rebecca Trammell Ferrell; four sons: Edward Christopher Ferrell and wife Stephanie of Sibley, Michael Ferrell and wife Monica of Ruston, Eric Ferrell and wife Stacy of Jonesboro, Patrick Ferrell and wife Rachel of Bossier City; one daughter Katie and husband Charlie Young of Ruston; six grandchildren: Skylar Renee, Natalie Grace, Jade Sierra, Madison Ann, Grace Addison and Olivia Kate; two brothers: R.D. Barber of Houston, TX and Carl Wayne Ferrell of Arcadia; three sisters: Wandal Wright of Marshall, TX, Diane Ferrell of Kerrville, TX and Mary Byrd of Princeton.
