Local arrested on meth charges
A Ruston man was arrested for allegedly creating a methamphetamine lab out of his residence after Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team officers reportedly found components used to make the drug around his house.
Jason Andrew Picard, 34, of 307 Bernard St., was charged with creation of a meth lab on Sept. 9. He faces a $20,000 bond for the charge.
Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Maj. Stephen Williams said LPNET received information regarding a possible meth lab at Picard’s house on Sept. 6.
