April was born in Oceanside, CA on June 24, 1971, and passed away on August 23, 2011, following a too short battle with cancer.

April was a member of South Parkway Church, and was a living example of Hebrews 13:16: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased;” as she was always ready and glad to feed an empty stomach, hug a hurt heart, or open her home to a tired or lost soul. April’s greatest pleasures in life were fishing, gardening, cooking and doting on her sons and many nieces and nephews.
April was preceded in death by her father, Walter Brian Warren, paternal grandparents, Walter and Dollie Warren, and maternal grandparents, Joe and Ila May Gibson. She is survived by her loving husband James Graves; sons, Devin Skipper and Tyler Skipper, stepson Austin Graves; grandson Riley Skipper; mother and stepfather Joyce and Frank Elmore; sister Angela Morris; brother Brian Warren and wife Sarah; nieces and nephews Terrell Brownfield, Ashley Brownfield, Heather Brownfield, Caitlin Morris, Abbey Warren, Silvia Warren, and Silas Warren; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org/donate.
