We owe a debt of gratitude
Also, this single event should restore our faith in the democratic process. It’s a decision that was truly a reflection of the will of the people. It was, frankly, a beautiful thing to witness.
It’s true that some jurors have been pushing for some type of reform for many years. But, jurors who enjoyed the benefit usually strangled reform. It was ugly and it was discouraging. It was not a shining example of democracy.
