Common courtesy thing of the past
When I heard a Ruston man was beaten unconscious following a dispute in the McDonald’s drive-thru line about who was next, I was disturbed. But sadly, not surprised.
About a week after the incident, which happened May 29, I drove out of that same drive-thru line on a Friday night and witnessed another conflict heating up.
A car full of tough-looking guys had driven in from the County Market side to get in line, and they had gotten out of their vehicle and were loudly arguing with another gentleman.
