Dogs, Hawaii begin WAC play

Tech (32-23, 11-13) and Hawaii (40-13, 17-6) will have the distinction of being involved in the very first game of the very first postseason tourney ever held by the league, the two clubs colliding in a 1 p,m. (CST) meeting today at Pete Belden Field in Fresno, Calif.
The winner moves on to facing either Nevada (24-26, 11-12) or San Jose State (33-24, 12-12) on Friday at 5 p.m.
