Funeral services for Walter Brian Warren, 61 of Madison, TN are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Corinth Baptist Church near Dubach. Officiating will be Reverend Leroy Skipper and Reverend Joe Skipper. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel of Ruston.  Brian was born in Arcadia, LA on December 22, 1949 and died in Madison, TN on June 18, 2011. Brian was a member of The Pentecostal Church and had served in the United States Marine Corps where he earned the Rifle Marksmanship Badge, and the National Defense and Good Conduct awards. Brian always put others ahead of himself. He would give you his last dollar. He was a hard worker that started delivering newspapers at the age of 9 years old. Brian always said he never had to defend himself, that God would handle it for him.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dollie Brazzel Warren; Paternal Grandparents, William and Flora Warren; Maternal Grandparents, Russell and Vanna Brazzel; Brothers, Sgt. Walter E. Warren and Lee R. Warren; Sisters in Law, Priscilla Ulanday Warren and Ella Louise Humphrey Warren; Niece, Jennifer Lanel Warren; Nephew, Glen Warren. Brian is survived by his son, Brian D. Warren and wife Sara of Ruston, LA; Daughters, April Warren and husband James Graves of Choudrant and Angela Warren of Temple, TX; Brother, Rev. Ronnie Warren and wife Peggy of Gonzales, LA; Sisters, Shirley Warren and husband Joe Skipper of Simsboro and Dorthy Warren and husband Clyde Deason of Ruston, LA; Seven Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild; Sister in Law, Carolyn Warren of El Dorado, ARK; Four Nieces, Suzie Warren, Serena Bagley, Laura Jackson and Jill LaRue; Eight Nephews, Walter E. Warren JR, Dewayne Warren, Marc Skipper, Jeff Warren, Rodney Warren, Randy Warren, Chris Deason and John Deason. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude for the loving care given to Brian during his illness. A special Thank You to Dr. David Gregory and the staff of the Nashville, TN VA Medical Center, also to Dennis Marx and staff at Odyssey Hospice Health Care,  The nurses and staff of Madison Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Phyllis Cherry and Paula Halliburton. Also special thanks to nurses Brandy Roberts and Linda Motely who were there in his final hours. Lou Lawless, Vicki Wilson, Kea, Deda, Jeff Dotson and Diane Gupton with Hospice, caregivers Betty and Brenda, Frank and Shirley Bailey of Goodlettsville, TN for their inspiring love and kindness shown to Brian in his time of need all receive special thanks. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Lee Warren of Houston, TX, Frank and Shirley Bailey of Goodlettsville, TN and Roland Kay of Dubach,Dr. David Gregory and Dennis Marx of Nashville, TN. Pallbearers will be Joe Lee Brazzel, Prentis Barmore, Randy Inman, Chris Brazzel, Rev. Ronnie Warren and Clyde Deason, and Marvin Brazzel
