Meznar, McGehee to marry on July 2
Philip Ross Meznar, of Boone, N.C., and Natalie Walker McGehee, of Ruston, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Wayne McGehee. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. L.D. McGehee, of Ruston, the late L.D. McGehee, the late Theodore Joseph Millette, the late Mrs. Harry Everette Burrow and Dr. Harry Everette Burrow, of Ocean Springs, Miss.
Natalie is a 2007 homeschool graduate and she earned a Bachelor of Science in piano pedagogy in 2011 from Bryan College, in Dayton, Tenn. While in college, she was on the Dean’s List for all four years and served as an orientation group leader.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Martin Blaine Meznar and the grandson of Barbara Deck, of Lansing, Ill., Larry Ross, of Van Wert, Ohio, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Meznar.
Philip is a 2006 alumnus of Centennial High School and graduated from Bryan College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics. While in college, he was a member of the Student Government Association and Students-In-Service. Philip is currently enrolled in a master’s program in computer science at Appalachian State University.
The couple plan to marry in a 2 p.m. ceremony on July 2 at Christ Community Church.
