Brumett, Johnston married May 7
Letha Diane Johnston, of Albany, Ga., and Brian Theodore Brumett, of Albany, Ga., were married in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony on May 7. Pastor Micky Manning officiated the ceremony.
Letha is the daughter of C. Frank and Marijohn Johnston, of Sylvester, Ga. She is the granddaughter of the late John and Mary Bean and Calvin and Earline Johnston.
Brian is the son of Dale and Leila Brumett, of Ruston. He is the grandson of Clarence and Alice Bullock, Susan Brumett and the late Robert Donald Brumett.
The bride given in marriage by her father wore an ivory tea-length dress in lightweight tulle over luxurious satin. The A-line silhouette featured tulle illusion V-neck straps in front and back, with a beaded empire waste which was adorned by a delicate bow at the center front. The bride carried a bouquet of colorful summer flowers accented with ribbons that held a photograph of her late grandparents.
Sarah Caswell, of Minden, served as the matron of honor and Danny Burson, of Ruston, served as the best man for the ceremony.
A reception was held in the couple’s honor at the Lincoln Parish Park.
The couple will reside in Albany, Ga.
