Linda Osborne, the director of the BCM, said the idea began with the book, Blue Like Jazz, which comes up with many creative ways to get Christians and non-Christians to connect. By the time the idea had molded, Temple, First, Calvary and Cook Baptist Churches and the BCM, were all involved.

“We came up with a plan to make the campus smaller and build bridges between the church and campus,” Osborne said. “We were playing with ideas of what we could do.”
