Bradford was elated but he decided he had to do something — something big.
While much of the regularly scheduled Lincoln Parish School Board meeting set for 6 p.m. today will be routine business, it is certainly not a meeting for local parents to ignore.
After several routine business items are taken care of, residents may finally learn what decisions have been made during several closed-door meetings over the course of many months since August. School board members had two such legal planning sessions in March alone, with several others throughout the eight month span.
The U.S. Treasury Department has selected Community Trust Financial Corporation to participate in its Small Business Lending Fund (SBLF). Community Trust Financial Corporation, parent company of Community Trust Bank, is one of the first six financial services institutions approved for this program due to their extensive and ongoing support of small businesses.
Capital provided by the SBLF allows community banks to increase their lending to small businesses, helping to stimulate the economy and create new jobs.
