Brazzel, Brasuell set to wed in April 2 ceremony
William Chance Brazzel, of Dubach, and Shelby Nicole Brasuell, of Ruston, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Rob and Carol Shadoin, of Ruston, and Kevin and Meg Brasuell, of Clarksville, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Thelma Brasuell and the late Harvey R. Brasuell, of Memphis, Tenn., Billy Joe and JoAnn Cook, of Dubach, and Kathy Turner and the late John Turner, of Shreveport. She is the great-granddaughter of Eloise Galloway, of Shreveport.
Shelby’s siblings include Ginny Shadoin Canterbury and Sarah Shadoin El-Awadi, of Ruston, Robbie Shadoin, of Baton Rouge, and Brandon and Clay Brasuell, of Clarksville.
She is a Ruston High School alumna and graduated from Ingram’s Barber College.
The groom is the son of Lane and Jackie Brazzel, of Dubach. He is the grandson of Sonny Carlile and the late Carolyn Carlile of Mexia, Texas, Alene Brazzel, of Dubach, and the late Melvyn Brazzel. His siblings include Brittnie Brazzel, Jason Brazzel and the late Jonathan Brazzel.
Chance attended Dubach High School and is employed as a pipeline operator out of Fort Worth, Texas.
The couple plan to marry in a 2 p.m. ceremony on April 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston in the Burkhalter Chapel.
