Donaldeen Robinson Allbritton

A graveside service for Mrs. Donaldeen Robinson Allbritton, age 86 of Ruston, formerly of Midland, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston.  Rev. Keith B. Rowe will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Allbritton was born December 15, 1924 in Sac City, Iowa to Halleck Floyd Robinson and Ollie Mae Bradley Robinson. On June 28, 1958, she married William Allbritton in Roswell, New Mexico.  Mrs.

Funeral services for Paulette Murray Pearson, age 59, of Dubach, LA will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2011 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Dubach, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Mickey Manning. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Paulette was born on October 28, 1951 and passed away July 6, 2011.

A memorial visitation for Marjorie Sharpe Diamond, 92 of Ruston will be from 6PM until 8PM Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the chapel of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Diamond was born January 1, 1919 in Guymon, OK and died July 2, 2011 in Ruston.

James "Randy" Lindsey

James "Randy" Lindsey passed away Saturday July 3rd, due to a sudden illness, at the age of 54. Randy was a resident of DeBerry, Texas. He is survived by his daughter Anne-Marie Lindsey, her husband Alex Neill, and grandson Jacob Ryan Lindsey, all of Fort Rucker, AL., mother Mary S. Lindsey of Cotton Valley, brother David Lindsey of Minden, sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Bill Kaylor of Cotton Valley, fiancee Liz Stelly Regard, and long-time friend, "Uncle" Bud Sutton, along with a host of other family and friends.

James Philip (Pat) Ryan

Graveside services for James Philip (Pat) Ryan, 75, of Atlanta, GA will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Greenwood Cemetery in the family plot next to his parents in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Folino, OFM will officiate the service. Mr. Ryan passed away on June 21, 2011 after a stroke. He was born in Ruston, LA., the son of Robert Edmond Ryan and Mable Clair Warren Ryan, on January 20, 1936. His father was a Civil Engineer; and supervised the building of the secret German POW Camp in Ruston.

Funeral services for L. Victor Colvin, 75, of Ruston will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 5, 2011at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Rev. Dale Oden and Dr. Andy Johnson will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Unionville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Colvin was born on February 23, 1936 in Ruston and died on July 2, 2011 in Ruston. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. Colvin, Sr. and Bertha Elaine Goodjoin Colvin; sister, Fannie Mae Colvin Lann; brothers, C. W.

William S. “Bill” Carter

William S. “Bill” Carter of Ruston, Louisiana passed away Thursday morning June 30, 2011 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Mr. Carter was born in Monroe, Louisiana on January 25, 1925 and graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1942. He was a World War II naval veteran having served in the South Pacific.
