Miriam Eugenia (Bobbie) Bennett died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, November 26, 2011, at the age of 83. Mrs. Bennett was born to the union of Reason Waymond and Henrietta Burnside Rhodes on October 27, 1928, in El Dorado, Arkansas, and was a resident of Spearsville, Louisiana for most of her life.
A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, she worked as a secretary at Lion Oil and Murphy Oil Corporations in El Dorado for many years. On January 6, 1948, she married Ralph Bennett, a union which lasted until he passed away in 2004.

Funeral services for Mr. Alan D. Woods, 82, of Farmerville will be 10:00am Tuesday, November 29th at First Baptist Church, Farmerville with Bro. Kurt Auger and Bro. Andy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mr. Woods was retired from BC Telephone and was a member of First Baptist Church, Farmerville. He passed away November 26, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Charles Oliver and 1 brother, Eric Henry John Woods.

Russel Carl Fleeman of Monroe, Louisiana, died in his sleep on Saturday, November 26, 2011 of complications from pneumonia. He was born on May 12, 1918 at home in the country outside Manila, Arkansas. The sixth and youngest child of Horace Mack and Ollie Burton Fleeman of Manila, Russel was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Charles and Eugene Fleeman, and by his sisters, Hazel Meyer and Nellie Townsend. Russel was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Ross.
