Mattie Inez Kelley passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the age of 87. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bernice, LA. Interment will follow in Mt. Patrick Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home of Bastrop, LA. The family will receive friends Friday, October 23, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Janice Reynolds Sellers Summerville

Janice Reynolds Sellers Summerville, 68, of El Dorado, AR; died on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, AR following a lengthy illness. Born November 26, 1946 in Smackover, she was the daughter of Jimmie O. and Lorene Short Reynolds. She had been a security guard for Wal-mart and was of the Baptist faith. Janice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with fishing, gardening and canning. Preceding her in death along with her father were her grandparents, Josie and Sam Short and Anna and Oris Reynolds.

Mr. Vinson Lee Crawford Sr., 72, of Friendswood, Texas entered eternal life on October 11, 2015. He was born on August 18, 1943 to parents Adrian Charles and Kalatah Crawford. He was one of nine children, seven boys and two girls.Vinson graduated from Lincoln High School in Ruston, Louisiana and attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Growing up and throughout his life, he had a profound love for sports where he excelled in football and golf. He later attended Southern University on a golf scholarship.

Wallace (Ruston); grandson, Jeffrey S. Simmons (Houston); grandson, Christopher B. Simmons and wife Melissa (Houston); and great-grandchildren Elyse Suzanne Simmons and Thomas Garrett Simmons.

Shelia was Associate Lead Pastor at Cathedral of Praise Worship Center. She was a true woman of faith for the Kingdom of God. Leading by example, she cast away doubts and fears and placed her complete trust in the Word of God. She stood firmly on the promises of God never wavering as she fought the fight of faith.
