Millien, Clark, Cox named All-State

Parish stars earn Louisiana’s highest prep track honor

Kristen Clark, Chase Millien and Josh Cox are more than just state champions in track and field this season.
They’re also All-Louisiana performers.
The Lincoln Parish trio gained the highest honor available to a prep performer in the state on Monday when they were announced as members of the 2011 All-State squad selected by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.
Clark made the girls’ team in the javelin, while Millien was chosen in the 3,200-meter run and Cox for the javelin on the boys’ team.
